130 kidswear brands to show at Children's Fashion Cologne

More than 130 kidswear brands from 14 countries are gearing up to showcase their latest creativity at the upcoming fourth edition of the international children’s apparel-centric trade fair, Children’s Fashion Cologne 2015 (CFC 2015).
Slated to take place from January 11 to 13, 2015 in Cologne, Germany, the fair, which is a mixture of exhibitions, specialised lectures and catwalk parades (Luna Fashion Shows), will feature an array of children’s, baby and maternity Autumn/Winter 2015/16 clothing collections alongside accessories and interior fashions.
Leading global brands like Bellybutton, Bóboli, Chiemsee, Colorado Jeans, Esprit Maternity, Hummel, Kaporal, Kids Fashion Group, Levi’s Kidswear, Mamalicious, Mexx, Noppies, Retour Jeans and Sanetta along with the clothing retailers from the Bielefeld-based syndicate of independent entrepreneurs EK/Servicegroup will showcase their creations at the event.
Gerrit Sachs, the trade fair and event director at EK/Servicegroup commented on the fair, “We believe we are in good hands in Cologne, because the industry's suggestions are acknowledged and implemented straight away. Starting from the trade fair concept and the excellent quality of the visitors, from the innovative ideas regarding the design of the event and the stands. This is why we will not be participating at any other children's fashion trade fair apart from CFC in 2015.”
Katharina C. Hamma, the chief operating officer of the trade event’s venue, Koelnmesse, says, “Children's Fashion Cologne strives to offer the trade the best possible overview of the new children's fashion collections at the start of the season and allow them to place targeted orders in good time. We have placed high value on holding dialogues with the industry players in order to provide the specialised dealers and the industry with a high-quality platform that satisfies their needs.”
Bertram M. Laufer, the executive board member of Hamburg-based brand Colorado Denim (one of the participants of CFC 2015), said in a statement, “Children's Fashion Cologne is an important platform for Colorado Kids in the overall context of children's and youth trade fairs, both at national and international level. We welcome the early venue date in January 2015 as the opening event of the Autumn/Winter season 2015/16.”
The three-day fair, in collaboration with the Dutch retail design experts from Finishing Dutch Retail Design, Alkmaar, Netherlands, will also include the Pimp my Shop NOW campaign, a program which will offer shop redesigning and modernisation advice to small and medium-sized distributors. (PB)
