In an effort to further expand sales in the global sports market, Teijin Group said it will participate in ISPO Munich, the world biggest sportswear exhibition, which runs from February 5-8, 2015.

In hall- C2, booth no – 100, Teijin will showcase technical materials and products offering exceptional comfort and solutions that help reduce consumption and also CO2 emissions due to the use of fossil resources.

Products on display include; Deltapeak CR, a lightweight, thin, three-layer fabric made with water-repellent polyester fibres, which achieves excellent anti-perspiration comfort through enhanced absorption.

Another product, the Deltapeak, which is Teijin Frontier’s next-generation fabric, realises a highly integrated combination of physicality, functionality and quality.

It offers softness, durability, stretching, ultraviolet protection and anti-transparency, as well as snag resistance due to its dense, flat-knit surface.

In bio-derived materials, Teijin will show Solotex, a polytrimethylene terephthalate fibre, which is highly soft, stretchable, shape-retaining and durable and is also partially bio-derived.

Teijin’s elk is a lightweight, durable, cushiony and breathable material that serves as an excellent substitute for polyurethane in a range of cushioning applications, such as mattresses.

Teijin said it is also environmentally friendly because it does not generate cyanogen gas when incinerated.

Teijin Group’s main fields of operation are high-performance fibres such as aramid, carbon fibres and composites, healthcare, films, resin & plastic processing, polyester fibers, products converting and IT.
