The facility is an answer to mitigate the unemployment problem faced by skilled workers who struggle to start their own businesses after the completion of their respective training programmes, according to the association’s eastern regional secretary, Emmanuel Kissi.
Apart from the factory, the yet-to-be-built two-storey building would also include offices as well as accommodation for key staff members.
GTDA offers vocational courses in dress cutting, designing as well as finishing. (PB)
