Koovs set to launch Giles Deacon-designed exclusive line

The Indian one-stop online fashion destination Koovs is set to launch an exclusive womenswear collection created in collaboration with British designer Giles Deacon.
Due to be available for purchase from 23 April, 2015 onwards, the 37-piece ready-to-wear range titled Giles at Koovs will feature day, cocktail and eveningwear looks enhanced with the designer’s signature pop culture references and wild prints.
Commenting on the association in a media statement, the celebrated designer said, “I’m very excited about this collaboration with Koovs. The brand has a young audience that is fashion conscious and experimental, which is very appealing to me.”
“Koovs has a very talented team who helped me understand the needs of the Indian consumer. The Giles at Koovs collection features lots of vibrant prints and statement dresses which is what we are known for and this is exactly what I wanted to bring in to the collaboration to give a true sense of who we are at Giles,” he adds.
Robert Bready, joint MD at Koovs said, “We are excited about our collaboration with Giles Deacon. Giles is a talented and iconic British designer. His playful and eclectic designs have been mirrored in the collection with a sense of fun and avant-garde edge, perfect for Koovs consumer who is confident and is not afraid to have fun and make a statement with her style.” (PB)
