Olivia Wilde fronts H&M's Conscious Exclusive campaign

Swedish retailer H&M has recently unveiled a sneak-peek into the latest assortment of its upcoming Conscious Exclusive collection made using sustainable materials like hemp and organic linen and leather.

Drawing inspiration from around the planet, the versatile range features organic linen and silk made glamorous, sleeveless gown adorned hand-drawn images of birds, and an Africa-inspired tencel and recycled wool crafted black cocktail dress embellished with recycled sequins.

Scheduled to be released at some 200 H&M stores worldwide and online on April 16, 2015, the line also includes a Japanese ink print inspired dress made from organic hemp, silk and cotton, a tencel jacquard bomber jacket, an organic silk tuxedo blazer, a minimalist leather jacket, a flapper dress with recycled beads and a pair of stack-heeled sandals.

The collection campaign has been fronted by American actress and humanitarian Olivia Wilde. Speaking about her association with H&M, the 31-year-old multifaceted personality said in a press statement, “I love the Conscious Exclusive collection at H&M, both for the look, and also for its ethics. This is how all fashion should be: great style that’s naturally more sustainable.”

Ann-Sofie Johansson, creative adviser of H&M said, “I love the global influences to this Conscious Exclusive collection and the beauty of the hand-drawn prints, made by one of our talented in house designers.
