Auhagen to be keynote speaker at IAF's fashion convention

Christoph Auhagen, the chief brand officer (CBO) of Hugo Boss, will be the keynote speaker at the International Apparel Federation (IAF)’s 31st World Fashion Convention, scheduled to take place in Istanbul this year.

This announcement was made by IAF and its partner, the Turkish Clothing Manufacturers Association (TCMA).

At Hugo Boss, Auhagen is responsible for brand management, creative management, sourcing and manufacturing.

“With Auhagen of Hugo Boss as key note speaker the IAF Convention in Istanbul is establishing itself again as the major conference in the global fashion industry. Hugo Boss, everybody in the industry would agree, is a well respected company, combining solid marketing with strong respect for product quality. The theme of the Convention, ‘Making it better’ is obviously in good hands with Auhagen and Hugo Boss,” exclaimed IAF president Rahul Mehta in a statement.

The Convention would begin on October 13. The next day will be the conference day with Auhagen as keynote speaker. On October 15th delegates will have the opportunity to sign up for a number of parallel workshops and also to engage in B2B meetings with Turkish companies. (RKS)
