Barcelona, Real Madrid clothing now available in India

Football fans in India can soon buy licensed apparel of some of the world’s greatest clubs. This, after Suditi Industries Ltd. bagged the official apparel licensing right of Spanish giants Real Madrid and FC Barcelona and top English Premier League side Manchester City, representing them in India, according to an agency report.

While Viacom18 facilitated the partnership with FC Barcelona, Bradford License India did it for Manchester City FC. The deal gives Suditi Industries Ltd. the rights to manufacture and market the fashion apparel that is likely to find a ready market among football fans as well as casual-wear lovers across the country.

As a part of this deal, Suditi Industries Ltd will design and manufacture licensed clothing line including t-shirts, sweatshirts, polo shirts, jackets, track pants, boxers for men.

The FC Barcelona apparel will have an exclusive line with digitalised signatures of players like Lionel Messi, Neymar, Andres Iniesta and Luis Suarez. There will also be a special FCB kids line.

These football merchandise and apparel will be available at the major departmental stores, large format stores, multi-brand outlets and leading e-commerce portals. (SH)
