Grafica Flextronica has inked an agreement with Austria based Aeoon Technologies GmbH to market Aeoon Kyo series digital textile printers in India.

“These sturdy printers with a printing speed of 800 t-shirts per hour are designed for industrial use, vis-à-vis bulk production,” a Grafica press release informed.

The agreement was signed by Bhargav Mistry, managing director of Grafica, and Angelo Schiestl, managing director of Aeoon Technologies GmbH, Austria.

Grafica supplies wide range of printing machinery such as nano-prinTex, nano-prinTag, both automatic DTG screen printing machines, nano-Texdryer, nano-flashTex, a drying and curing system.

Its products also include Nano-Print, a flat bed screen printing machine for printing heat transfers, garment tags, labels and large format screen making system for textile printing, etc.

Grafica follows it up with impartation of knowledge to screen printers in advanced screen printing through its world class DMI institute.

Aeoon Technologies vision is to build a versatile inkjet printing platform for industrial mass application and offers excellent technical support, and in-depth advices right from the initial idea to start of production.

Bhargav Mistry said, “The digital press can be used for printing spot and CMYK colors even in big quantities, while screen printing process would still be required to print high density and special effects.”

“The machines are robust, and have a durable full-metal machine body that is designed to handle the mechanical stresses of industrial use,” Angelo Schiestl too said.

“Aeoon machines are built with top quality components and importantly, many of the maintenance issues that are common in many DTG digital presses are eliminated,” Schiestl added.

He explained further, “With Aeoon digital press, one can print on dark and light textiles using Aeoon RIP software which automatically synchronises the printable files with the machine.”

To print on light garments, one has to simply load the textile on the pallet, select the design to be printed, and hit the print button, while dark garments have to be pretreated before printing.

During the printing process, the white under base is applied and the colours are printed on top of it and following this, the textiles need to be cured in a dryer.

Aeoon supplies its own water based inks which are specially manufactured to meet the specification and mechanism of Kyo DTG digital printers.

Aeoon ink colours ensue that there is no contradiction between speed of the press and vibrant colours, as the colour is optimised for an industrial scale textile printing and fulfills the highest quality demands.

Aeoon colours are available in CMYK and white-pigmented ink and also offer a pretreatment solution which ensures the best printing quality on dark textiles. (AR)
