Antigua signs on as apparel licensed vendor of EWGA

Apparel marketer Antigua apparel has signed on as a new national licensed vendor of EWGA, the largest women-focused national amateur golf association in the United States.

“As a licensed vendor of EWGA, Antigua will be able to target EWGA members and chapters with on-going apparel offers throughout the year,” it said in a press release.

Antigua's apparel will be available for purchase on EWGA's shop site and through branded apparel flyers sent to EWGA chapter leaders seasonally.

In addition to on-going communications surrounding the national partnership, Antigua will have representatives on-site at EWGA's biggest events.

“At these events, EWGA ladies will be able to try clothes on for sizing and get a first look at apparel available for the upcoming season,” it added.

"With team competition being a key activity, EWGA members can now become their own Team Antigua by taking advantage of the wide range of sizes and styles offered," Ashley Nelson at EWGA said.

"Women's golf apparel and women's golf in general are very important parts of our business at Antigua and so, partnering with the EWGA is a perfect fit for us," said Antigua CEO Ron McPherson.

In 2014, Antigua celebrated its 35th anniversary serving the apparel needs of the golf, licensed sports, corporate and identity specialty retail markets.

The Antigua team on tour consists of several PGA, LPGA, Senior PGA and other nationwide touring professionals. (AR)
