State Admin recalls YaHong down clothing

Recently, Chongqing city's Clothing Accessories Association has decided to recall all disqualified 'YaHong' brand down clothes manufactured by HuaYu Clothing Company.
In the spot check of State Administration of Quality Supervision, the domestic down clothing brand, YaHong, was blacklisted. According to officials, the down fabric used in these products was lighter in weight than the required quantity and was affecting the thermal performance of the apparels.
The thermal performance of a fabric depends upon fibre type, fabric weight and bulk. The thumb rules for this, the heavier or bulkier the fabric, better the thermal performance.
In addition to this, one of the Association official said that this kind of recalling would continue, if any problem occurs in the system. Chongqing city is the first in China to carry out the system to recall the disqualified clothes, in an attempt to maintain a balanced development and standardize the clothing industry.
