According to the latest data released by National Bureau of Statistics, China's production of children clothing reached 34.7 million pieces, in December 2007. An increase of 3.64 million pieces over November, rising nearly 27.68 percent, with a growth of 38.08 percent over the same period last year.
Country's total production of children apparel in 2007 was 369.6 million pieces, depicted an augmentation of 5.85 percent over 2006.
Guangdong remained the largest production base in 2007. Its collective production reached 162.74 million, accounting for 44.03 percent of the total national output.
Fujian produced 76.79 million pieces of kids apparel, accounting for 20.78 percent in domestic share, making it second in the row. Zhejiang Province took third place, with 37.82 million pieces, contributing 10.23 percent to total production.
