Summer style in San Francisco

International lifestyle apparel brand Dockers San Francisco launches its Spring/Summer Collection that captures the essence of a summer lifestyle in San Francisco through the latest color palette, comfortable stylish fits, and a top-to-toe relaxed look.

“Summer evokes optimism and a carefree outlook particularly so in San Francisco where you spend time outdoors boating, lunching al fresco or just soaking up the atmosphere. Here, though we can't afford to spend unlimited days at North Beach or Fisherman's Wharf in summer, we can still bring that summer spirit into our lives and our wardrobes."

"With the Spring/Summer 2008 Collection, today's discerning male will have a complete dress solution that's versatile, yet on-trend to take him from work to play. He'll look confident, yet stylish and cool in summer,” said David Smith, vice president for the Dockers brand, Asia Pacific Division based in Singapore.

The quintessential summer style in San Francisco in the Dockers(R) Spring/Summer 2008 Collection is embodied in the brand's three key product concepts – Dockers Khak1s, Dockers Mobile and Dockers Collection.

The Dockers Khak1s concept is stylishly classic yet casual, holding true to its strong nautical heritage. For a classier look, consumers can have the comfort of pairing a short-sleeved anchor motif shirt, or maritime polo tee, with comfort or straight leg pants. They can go casual as well – picture a “sailor” striped crew neck with shorts in a choice of neutral colors and dessert brown. The Dockers Khak1s concept has also introduced denim pants into the line to provide a modern and yet comfortable look to the male needing ease at play. These denim pants come in comfort and straight legs in indigo, with clean natural whiskering effects.
