Lee Cooper launches Red Diamond

Lee Cooper, the fine English denim company since 1908, famous for its long-standing association with music (specifically rock) has now launched its Spring Summer collection 2008.
This high fashion collection is a step up from the core Lee Cooper product lines from the earlier collections. Catering to the rebellious, irreverent, straight-talking generation, the collection is specially designed for the real trendy look.
Announcing the launch of the new season, Mr. Ameet Panchal, CEO Lee Cooper (India) Pvt. Ltd said, “The inspiration for the SS08 Red Diamond line is beauty and the geek.
Our inspiration is driven by the contrast in characters, beauty and intelligence of the contemporary beauty and geek, which are poles apart.
This is the reason they get attracted to each other. A right combination of the inner self and the external beauty is what took inspiration from for our latest Red Diamond collection.”
He added, “The essence of the SS08 Red Diamond collection is a chic product with minimalistic detailing. The palette consists of grey, black and other neutrals along with saturated dressy colors.
The finishes include resin finishes, dry and wet processes including scraping and grinding for a dry, coarse and raw feel.”
The silhouettes of Red Diamond include skinny/tapered denims complement the boot cuts, whereas the low slouchy denims complement the fitted straight pairs.
Embroidered pockets, permanent crinkled look, distressed look and bling (on women's) are also a highlight of the collection.
