After the material has been selected, a style that flatters the customer's figure and best suits his needs is identified and further customized through unique details and special touches.
The measurement process is extremely critical to ensure a perfect custom-tailored fit. Specialized staff in the store has undergone specific training to make sure this delicate task is performed accurately and with extreme professionalism.
The information collected is codified and transmitted to a central computer that is transformed into the garment. The computer simulates and optimizes the cutting operations, perfectly reproducing and reflecting the pattern and design.
It then prepares the cutting phase, which is performed with utmost precision and respects even the most delicate fabrics.
All garment pieces are controlled one by one, codified, matched with linings and sent to the sewing department, where they follow a preferential path throughout the production process.
The Made to Measure service differs from bespoke service, which is traditionally offered by small niche tailors, such as those in Saville Row.
Unlike most bespoke services, which can take up to six months, Zegna can deliver fully personalised garments within 4 to 6 weeks and with only 2 fittings.
