Educational Outfitters, the nation's premier school apparel provider,is pleased to announce its first conversion franchise.

This store was originally independently owned and operated in the Louisville, KY area and is now becoming our 36th store to open its doors.

In other development news, Educational Outfitters continues expanding into other markets nationwide with a new store opening this season in Nashville,TN.

Converting an existing store to an Educational Outfitters is an event that confirms how the school industry is changing with the many mergers and buy-outs from larger companies.

As history in niche industries shows, once the consolidations begins, independently operated stores will start disappearing because they will not be able to compete with larger companies.

Educational Outfitters Franchising Company offers buying group pricing, marketing, IT systems, promotional and operations support, a network of other owners, along with brand awareness and inventory sharing to independent owners by converting to an Educational Outfitters franchise.

Our company remains the only franchising opportunity in the school uniform industry. We understand the challenges'Mom-Pop' stores are facing because that is how we began our business. Now we have 36 stores nationwide built on a business model that is generating success.

As our newest Louisville business owner recognizes, we offer the opportunity for smaller independent operators to stay in the school uniform industry and be competitive without fear from the volatile change in larger companies.

Educational Outfitters successful organization values the importance of local operators in the school uniform business and provides them a national brand, with an experienced support and network system to enhance their business.
