Oiselle announces spring 2008 collection for athletes

Oiselle Running Inc is off and running! Recognized as the "Best New Brand" at the recent 2008 Fleet Feet Conference, Oiselle (pronounced wa-zell) announced the immediate availability of their spring 2008 collection and the addition of 30 new retail partners for 2008. Oiselle designs exclusively for the woman runner and has quickly built a strong reputation as the colorful new player in the premium running-apparel industry.

"Form should be in perfect balance with function. While Oiselle is designed to help women athletes perform at their highest level, our clothes feel and look amazing. At Oiselle, it's our mission to bring a high level of both technical expertise and style to the table -- and to challenge the industry as a whole to do the same," said Oiselle Founder and President Sally Bergesen.

A competitive runner who logs more than 40 miles in a typical week, Sally knows how uncomfortable -- and distracting -- tight, billowy, or ill-fitting apparel can be.

Oiselle's spring 2008 collection features nine bold warm-weather running styles and a bright, refreshing color palette. Flattering shorts in feminine shades like "pearl blush" pair beautifully with tanks in berry-colored "rumba red" or the "heather orange" performance tee.

New spring tops continue the use of premium fabrics and wicking innovations like Dri-Release, and add a new pop of complementary color to seasonal iterations of Oiselle classics, such as last year's most popular short, the Marseille, now available in "rumba red" or Oiselle's signature "firecracker" orange.
