Ha Tay to stand tall with hi-tech garment unit

A new garment manufacturing unit will come up soon in Thach That district, northern province of Ha Tay. The Binh Yen plant will be equipped with latest technology for exporting apparels in global market.
Binh Yen, covering an area of 5ha, will require an investment of nearly US $6.75 million. The project is anticipated to manufacture 5 million garments, annually.
The unit will produce fashionable garments including shirts, jackets, knitwear and trendy cloths for export purposes. All the products manufactured in this plant will strictly follow the standards set by US, EU and other developed nations.
It is significant that, the local vocational training school has already started training workers who will be employed in the factory once it comes into official operation.
Experts believe that, nearly 2,500 local workers will get employment in hi-tech garment manufacturing unit.
