Lord and Taylor's VP of Stores to retire

Jane Elfers, Lord and Taylor's President and CEO, announces the retirement of Earl Sluss, Executive Vice President of Stores, effective May 2008.
"Earl's contribution to Lord and Taylor's has been enormous," says Elfers. "Without Earl's leadership, drive, commitment and passion the repositioning of our brand would not have been achieved."
Sluss started his career with May Company in 1967 at the Hecht Company in Washington, DC. He joined the Lord and Taylor senior management team in 1987.
