Virtues of uniform industry & NAUMD

As leaders and industry innovators, it is incumbent upon us to see to the needs of and desires of all our members' customers without whom society could not function!
More than mere articles of clothing, uniforms provide the essential framework for how the public identifies who can help them when in need. Uniforms are, as we all know, the ultimate communicator of an organization's style – and create a solid impression even before the employee has spoken.
The right look can bolster both employee and consumer confidence while a poor selection can leave a negative impression in the public's mind.
So as we gather here this week, our presence is more than a sales opportunity. It is in fact a celebration of the trust placed in us to create uniform programs than instill employee pride, provide instant recognition, assuage public concerns, and underscore the professionalism of the customer.
No easy feat, for certain, but through strategic alliances, NAMD members are more than prepared for the challenge.
2007 was a truly exciting year for YOUR uniform organization.
In 2008, we've already launched a number of new programs designed to make NAUMD membership even more valuable! You'll learn about these and much more by attending the educational programs and networking events scheduled during the 2008 NAUMD Convention & Exposition in Nashville, TN.
We hope you will take advantage of the many opportunities for you to meet and do business together through NAUMD Membership.”
