As of now, the domestic company will take charge of design, research and development, production and sale of Lee Cooper shoes in China. On the other hand, brand management and other services will be retained by the headquarters of the company in England.
According to experts this is one of the latest trends in the international market where in order to enter the Chinese market; foreign enterprises sign a contract with domestic companies.
So far, a number of enterprises in Quanzhou City, Fujian Province have carried out this kind of deals with big international companies. For instance, American Disney has cooperated with Xtep, one of the most important shoe and clothes manufacturer in China.
In keeping with this trend, China is rapidly getting globalized attracting large scale foreign investments. It is hoped that with such rapid inter-country collaboration, China would gain increasingly both in terms of industrial and economic growth.
