Koutons opens its 23rd store in Lucknow

Les Femme and Koutons Junior introduced exclusively for women and kids respectively offers a wide range of formal and casual wear for women and children. Koutons Junior caters to young boys and girls in the age group of 2-14yrs.
The range of apparels in the collection includes t-shirts, shirts, night wear, capris, cargos, denims, dangris, denim skirts, 'A' line dresses, halters and accessories.
Les femme on the other hand caters to young women in the age group of 14-34 yrs of age and includes apparels like t-shirts, party wear, lycra, semi formal shirts, denims, capris etc.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. B.S Sawhn Managing Director, Koutons Retail India Ltd, said, “We are extremely pleased to have launched yet another Koutons Family store in Lucknow.
The inauguration of this Koutons Store is a testament of our aggressive retail expansion plans across the country as we plan to make operational an additional 100 such stores by end 2008, taking our total count to 1800 stores.“
He added further saying, “Koutons will continue to focus on maintaining and reinforcing the image of its existing exclusive brand outlets and also introduce its apparel to new geographical areas and assessing fashion trends, making fashion forecasts and offering products to match the global fashion movements. Koutons Retail India Ltd. reported an operationally good financial year with a Net sales for the year ended March 31, 2008 growing by 97% to Rs 793.50 crore compared to Rs 402.40 crore in the year ago period, while PAT for the year ended March 31, 2008 rose by 100% to Rs 69.08 crore, as against Rs 34.49 crore posted in the same period of last fiscal.
