Rochester Big & Tall Opens New Store in Westport, CT

Specialty-sized apparel is the fastest growing segment of retailing and Casual Male Retail Group is leading the way with a new Rochester Big & Tall ("Rochester") store in Westport, CT, scheduled to open on June 1, 2008.

This new Rochester store is the first store in the Connecticut area and is located on 1505 Post Road East. The opening of the Connecticut store brings the number of Rochester stores in the United States and London up to 27, providing customers with more convenient locations to shop for high-end big and tall clothing.

"The expansion of Rochester into Connecticut serves as an example of the increasing demand for high-end apparel for the big and tall guy," says David A. Levin, President and CEO of CMRG.

"This really is a significant move for CMRG, as this is the first Rochester store in this market and will allow us to serve our customers with the most comprehensive, fashionable options for big and tall man."

According to the National Retail Federation, retailers have recently experienced the largest month-to-month retail sales increases since November 2007.

Moreover, the U.S. Census Bureau recently reported the per capita income for the state of Connecticut in 2007 was $54,117, ranking first among the states.

While the town of Westport has a per capita family income of $73,664, and as a result the community's demand for luxury goods is at an all-time high, providing an ideal home for the Rochester chain.
