Indian Tex Zippers to set up zipper manufacturing plant in Adamjee EPZ

Indian company in the name & style M/s. Tex Zippers (BD) Limited will set up a Garments Accessories Manufacturing Industry in the Adamjee Export Processing Zone.

This 100% foreign owned company will invest about Taka 23 crore in their plant erection and will produce annually 25 crore pcs different type of zippers. The company will also create employment opportunity for 160 Bangladeshi including 08 foreign nationals..

An agreement to this effect was signed between the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority and the M/s. Tex Zippers (BD) Limited in BEPZA Complex, Dhaka. Mr. Prasanta Bhushan Barua, Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA and Vijay Toley ,Managing Director of M/s Tex Zippers (BD) Limited executed the agreement on behalf of their respective organization.

Among others Brig General Jamil Ahmed Khan, ndc, psc, the Executive Chairman of BEPZA , Member (Engineering) Md. Farhad Uddin, Member (Finance) Mr. AKM Mahbubur Rahman ,General Manager (IP) Mr. S M Abdur Rashid, Manager (Industrial Relations) Mr. Md. Abdus Sobhan and from investor side Mr. D Kumar,Country Director, Mr. Ajoy Kumar CEO,Mr. Anurag S Chauhan, MD(Apparel Solutions) were present at the signing ceremony.
