Oxford Industries Inc announced the election of Dennis M. Love to the Company's Board of Directors at the Company's annual meeting.

Mr. Love is the President and CEO of Printpack Inc, a privately held manufacturer of flexible and specialty rigid packaging headquartered in Atlanta, GA.

"Dennis brings a wealth of hands-on business knowledge and experience to our company," commented J. Hicks Lanier, Chairman and CEO of Oxford Industries Inc.

"We are delighted to welcome such a seasoned executive and are confident that he will make a significant contribution to our Board of Directors."

Oxford also announced that Robert E. Shaw has retired from the Board of Directors. Mr. Shaw, who has served on the Company's Board since 1991, reached the retirement age established by the Company's Bylaws and was no longer eligible for re-election as a director.

"We have been extraordinarily fortunate to have had someone of Bob's stature in the business world serve on our Board.

Bob's wise counsel and support have been indispensable as we have been strategically repositioning the Company over the last five years," said Mr. Lanier.
