Blacksheepstyle's exceptional fashion line now in Joken Style

Blacksheepstyle, a California company specializing in lifestyles that "don't follow the flock", announced that its line of t-shirts is being represented by Joken Style, a popular wholesale showroom located in the LA Fashion Mart.

Retailers can check out any of the 20 designs which are focused primarily on women. Some designs are also being offered for men. All designs were created by Nancy Whitcraft, artist and owner of Blacksheepstyle.

"The designs fall into three broad categories: animals, food, and 'edgy', and are intended to bring fun and lightheartedness into our all-too-serious world," said Whitcraft.

For example, one shirt has a picture of the human heart with silverware in each of the chambers, and a caption underneath that reads, "help yourself".

It's this kind of wit that Whitcraft wanted to bring forth in her line of t-shirts. Another example is the Blacksheepstlye logo of a sheep but with pink glasses and the caption below, "smart, sexy ewe."

All shirts are 100% cotton and come in several styles, colors and sizes.

Blacksheepstyle launched retail sales of its shirts last Fall by selling online and at various street fares and expos throughout California.

To expand market coverage the company has partnered with Joken Style, owned and operated by Eme Mizioch since 2007.

The partnership between the two companies took root, says Whitcraft, because of the depth of styles Joken represents, and because Mizioch "gets" the message Blacksheepstyle is conveying with its t-shirt line.

Says Mizioch, "Blacksheepstyle's designs are fun and sell-able. With so much competition these days it's great to offer our buyers this line of tees that stand out and don't follow the flock."

Committed to the community, Blacksheepstyle donates 5% of all revenues to the Marin Humane Society which cares for animals in Northern California and from across the West including Arizona and Tijuana.
