Ermenegildo Zegna, the global men's luxury fashion brand known for its fine tailoring and innovative use of the most exquisite fabrics, has unveiled its Fall/ Winter 2008 Sartoria Collection.

The Sartoria Fall/Winter 2008 collection carries the eclecticism and originality of the famed Zegna style. It offers tidy cutaway or fitted jackets with a narrow Nelson waistcoat, striped suits and trousers paired with a black jacket. Zegna has painstakingly created a line that flatters the form and personality of the wearer, resulting in huge critical acclaim for the brand.

Zegna's fashion concept emphasises chic tailoring that complements the masculine form. The light padding between the outer fabric and lining makes the garment warm and highly functional. The Sartoria collection provides a sophisticated and elegant business wardrobe with a powerful understated Italian style, created for a man who expresses his individuality and masculinity through impeccable tailoring.

Lanificio Ermenegildo Zegna specialises in fabric development, marked by artfully blending sumptuous fabrics from nature's finest raw materials. This season's leading innovation is a new 'Trofeo' fabric, weighing 250 grams a metre and made of 100% superfine Australian merino wool, sourced from the world's finest fleeces.

'Trofeo' is the ideal suiting fabric for the modern businessman with its long lasting performance, sumptuous handle and lightweight qualities ensuring an elegant draping.

A host of iconic tailoring blocks cater to the needs of every Zegna man, with the international bestselling 'Roma' and 'Milano' blocks consistently featured for several seasons now. 'Roma' with a timeless neo classical silhouette and fuller definition sits lower on the body, elongating the linear perspective of form and 'Milano' with a fitted slim silhouette favouring angular narrow cut shoulders, and shorter jacket length, that gives it an air of formal contemporary elegance.

The defining look for the season is a single-button peak lapel grey chalk stripe suit, in Zegna 'Trofeo' fabric, worn with a pure cashmere overcoat, cutaway collar shirting with subtle blue stripes, an emerald green jacquard silk tie and Chelsea boots in cow hide. A 'Diplomat' case in unique goatskin print leather, with solid brass hardware completes the tailored ensemble.

Forming part of the 'Heritage' accessories collection, the 'Diplomat' case is designed to functionally and elegantly meet the needs of today's business apparel, whilst delivering a complete look of refinement.

The new Ermenegildo Zegna Fall/ Winter 2008 Sartoria collection is available at franchise boutiques at The Boulevard, Emirates Tower and Mall of the Emirates in Dubai, corner shops in Saks Fifth Avenue – Burjuman Centre and Harvey Nichols – Mall of the Emirates as well as select Rodeo Drive Boutiques across Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
