The 13th edition of Lingerie Americas New York attracted 2,745 visitors, a steady number compared to previous seasons, to shop the Spring/Summer 2009 collections of many of the best brands in intimate apparel and swimwear.

A highlight of the three-day event (August 3 thru August 5, at the Altman Building and Metropolitan Pavilion, New York) was the much talked-about Runway Show at Cipriani 23rd Street, that has already been compared in the press to Victoria's Secret and a Broadway production and drew over 600 VIP guests.

“This season was a tremendous success at Lingerie Americas. The exhibitors worked very well at the trade show, writing orders and seeing current and new buyers.

And the fashion show went beyond our expectations. It really was spectacular and the feedback from buyers, press and the brands has been nothing but positive,” said Patrice Argain, CEO, Lingerie Americas.
