The Limited launches its online store

The Limited Stores announced that it is launching its much-anticipated online store. This new e-commerce website is an exciting addition to The Limited's offering of high-quality, private-label apparel designed to help the modern woman to succeed.

The site will carry a full selection of in-store apparel, as well as extended sizes, an outfitting guide, and a store locator.

The Limited has served generations of women with an array of trend-right American sportswear. After becoming independent from Limited Brands Incorporated in 2007, the creation of an e-commerce site was one of The Limited's first major business objectives.

Extensive customer research was conducted to determine exactly what customers needed and expected from the site. The result is an online store that is easy to navigate and makes chic, wearable clothing just a click away.

To take customer service to the next level, thelimited.com online store will include a selection of pants in short, regular and long lengths, select pant styles in sizes 14 through 18, and select tops in XL.

Site visitors can search by category or keyword, and the online store will replace the previously offered "Limited Delivers" program which located styles and sizes at store locations and delivered them to the customer's home.

The online store will make this iconic fashion retailer the comprehensive answer for the young professional of any age who wants design-driven, trend-right fashion to suit her individuality and her lifestyle demands from workday to weekend.

"We are very excited about the launch of our first-ever online store," said Linda Heasley, CEO, The Limited. "Our mission is to make modern women more successful through apparel designed to inspire confidence and help her express her individuality.

Right now what the modern woman needs is convenience because of the busy and active lifestyle she leads. Our customers love.

The Limited store experience and we are making every effort to reward their loyalty by offering an additional shopping experience that provides a wide sampling of chic apparel through a functional online channel."
