Next Inc an emerging leader in the imprinted sportswear products industry announced it recorded record shipments for the month of August. The company shipped in excess of $5 million for the month bringing year to date sales in line with last year.

Despite the depressed and challenging U.S. retail apparel environment, the company continues to maintain its valued position as a key supplier to various retail distribution channels and is starting to realize dividends from the effort of expanding and diversifying its customer base.

The Company continues to maintain good relations with its vendors and its expansion into ladies products lines are performing well. The Company anticipates remaining in compliance with its banking covenants.

Mr. Robert Budd, the Company's CEO, stated, "It clearly remains a tough environment out there in the retail space and the US economy in general. That said, we are pleased to report a record sales volume month for August.

Our aggressive focus on new opportunities coupled with previously initiated cost containment measures and improvements in operational efficiencies continue to position us well.

"Despite the challenging retail environment, many of our customers are embracing our unique ability to supply embellished products through our domestic manufacturing facility. This unique asset is playing a positive role in being able to facilitate replenishment and chase programs that others, who rely exclusively on import goods, simply can't supply.”
