Coolibar appoints Ms Engel to its BoD

Coolibar, the nation's leading sun protective clothing manufacturer, announced today the appointment of Susan E. Engel to its board of directors.
Engel has led two major consumer product companies, including Lenox Group Inc (formerly Department 56) where she was chairwoman of the board, president and chief executive officer (CEO) from 1997 to 2007.
She also was president and CEO of athletic apparel company, Champion Products, Inc., a division of the Sara Lee Corporation, from 1991 to 1994. Engel currently serves on the board of directors of Wells Fargo & Company and SUPERVALU, INC.
“We are very pleased to bring someone with Susan's caliber of experience to our board of directors,” said Coolibar president and CEO John Barrow.
“As we work to ensure our position as the authentic sun protective apparel leader, we believe she will bring great insight as we expand our channels and increase our market share in the fast growing sun protective clothing market.”
