Entrepreneurs elect new Chairman for zipper industry

Recently all big and medium sized Chinese zip manufacturing enterprises got together for a meeting in Jingjiang City of Fujian Province. The members present in the gathering, elected the Chairman for the zipper category of Chinese Hardware Goods Association.
Shi Nenhui of Fujian SBS Zipper Science and Technology Company will now act as the Chairman for the category of zippers on behalf of the association.
Even the Japanese YKK Group took part in this meeting. Their technology related to Y-tooth metal zippers, which they had previously monopolized, is now been used by many Chinese zipper manufacturers also.
In 2007, the output value of Chinese zipper industry was nearly 34.5 billion yuan, a rise of 15 percent when compared to 2006. From the total, sale of the zippers made in Zhejiang Province was almost 12 billion yuan, Guangdong Province, Fujian Province and Jiangsu Province separately contributed nearly 10 billion yuan, 5.5 billion yuan and 3 billion yuan.
