The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum (APEC) is hosting a meeting for small and medium-owned businesses to discuss and understand ways of growing and learning from experiences of other members.

“But what's good for business on international level can also benefit SMEs at local levels”, feels the President of Coordinating Committee of Gamarra Entrepreneurs, Mr Alva. He anticipates garment manufacturing units from Gamarra Province, which is famous for its apparel production units to participate in a big numbers in the forum starting from November 17.

Entrepreneurs from Gamarra are known to have participated at international conferences in locations like Singapore and China. Mr Alva said “We all will take part in this meeting and all other forums linked to APEC 2008. It will be a golden opportunity for us to share our and learn from experiences of twenty one of the most important economies of the world”.
