PacSun rejects Adrenalina's unsolicited proposal

Pacific Sunwear of California Inc announced that its board of directors has determined that the unsolicited proposal received from Adrenalina, retail-entertainment company currently operating three stores in Florida, to purchase all of the issued and outstanding shares of common stock of Pacific Sunwear is not in the best interests of the Company's shareholders.
Pacific Sunwear is a leading lifestyle specialty retailer rooted in the youth culture and fashion vibe of Southern California. The Company sells casual apparel with a limited selection of accessories and footwear designed to meet the needs of teens and young adults.
As of October 4, 2008, the Company operated 813 PacSun stores and 124 PacSun Outlet stores for a total of 937 stores in 50 states and Puerto Rico.
