Intima expo to feature leading lingerie & swimwear brands

After the successful launch of PURE Brands feature at Motexha 5 years ago, the event in 2009 is proud to introduce a brand-new lingerie & swimwear feature called INTIMA.
INTIMA will feature the world's leading lingerie & swimwear brands for the Middle Eastern markets, as they continue to witness positive economic growth despite global economic challenges.
Recognising the potential and importance of Motexha as the region's largest garments and apparel platform, a number of leading lingerie & swimwear companies have already confirmed their participation for the event.
The Lingerie and Swimwear sector in the Middle East is growing at a rapid pace to meet the demands of the expanding fashion retail space. The UAE and Saudi Arabia are the world's top importers of lingerie.
According to statistics revealed by the European Fashion and Textile Export Council (EFTEC), these two countries account for 77% of Europe's total lingerie brand exports to the Gulf followed by Kuwait at 16%.
The demand for lingerie and swimwear products is set to grow on the back of rising consumer spending, a surge in the number of tourists and 145% growth in retail space in the last few years.
The INTIMA Lingerie & Swimwear Exhibition, to be held from April 7 – 9, 2009 provides an opportunity for lingerie manufacturers and producers from all across the world to capitalize on growth witnessed by the burgeoning Middle East market.
