Point Blank Solutions Inc., a leader in the field of protective body armor, today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Point Blank Body Armor, received a $31.0 million delivery order to supply Interceptor Outer Tactical Vests (OTVs) and ballistic components to meet a requirement from the U.S. Army.

Point Blank Body Armor will begin production in December 2008 and expects to complete the contract by March 2009. Larry Ellis, President and CEO of Point Blank Solutions, Inc. commented, “This is a meaningful contract for our Company and is a testament to the quality of our solutions and our longstanding government and military relationships.

In the fourth quarter of 2008 and into next year, we will be fulfilling the U.S. Army contract for the Improved Outer Tactical Vest (IOTV), and Interceptor OTV contracts from the Defense Logistics Agency and the U.S. Army.
