Driza-Bone Activ, the natural high-performance active wear from iconic Australian brand Driza-Bone, will be put through its toughest test during this weeks' 2008 Mark Webber Pure Tasmania Challenge (19-23 November 2009), a grueling physical and mental adventure race held throughout Tasmania.

All 64 competitors comprising of elite sportspeople, celebrities and corporate teams, will wear Driza¬Bone Activ high-performance apparel as they battle it out over 280km of the most demanding terrain and extreme conditions.

Mark Webber, Australia's own Formula 1 star and founder of the event said "It's great to have Driza¬Bone Activ on board. Through varying conditions, our competitors are going to be pushed to their absolute limits over the five day event so we needed performance gear that could really stand up to the challenge”.

"The Driza-Bone Activ brand is perfectly suited. It has an amazing capacity to absorb moisture away from the body, keeping the competitors warm or cool depending on the conditions as well as being so incredibly comfortable next to the skin".

Webber established the Challenge in 2003 with the aim to create an event that combines his love of keeping fit in the great outdoors as well as raising funds for charity. Alongside Webber, this year's entrants include City Homicide actor Daniel MacPherson, six times Australian Paralympian Michael Milton, AFL champions Leigh Colbert and Glenn Archer and Beijing Gold Medalists, Scott Brennan and David Crawshay.
