The newly forged alliance would focus on the strategic IT needs of the apparel industry. The objective is to redefine the ICT consumption model for apparel industries thereby create new growth opportunities and service level capabilities.

“Our industry is at a crossroads with the global outlook. We cannot undermine the role of information technology to meet competition and harness domestic talent. However, SMBs in this industry needs IT that grows with business, both in scale and business models. I look at TCS' IT-a-as-Service catering to both.” said Mr.Ashok Rajani, Vice-Chairman, AEPC.

“For SMBs it not just about efficiency, but the speed in responding to global opportunities. We are conscious of typical challenges in SMBs in terms of capital and building in-house IT setups.
