Zapp from Raymonds launches kids model hunt contest

Gear up for some excitement this winter as Zapp!, the kids wear brand from Raymond Ltd., is all set to launch a brand new property, Zapp! Model Hunt Contest for a model for its Spring Summer 2009 Collection. The final winner will be splashed across all Zapp! photo shoots and ad campaigns for Zapp!'s Spring Summer 2009 range.
The model hunt jury will comprise of Ms. Silvia Bugna, Designer from Zapp!'s Design Studio in Italy, Ms. Shahana Hameed, Fashion Designer, Zapp! and Mr. Rajeev Ravindranathan, Creative Director, Saatchi & Saatchi Bangalore. They will screen and shortlist aspiring children keeping in mind the core image of the brand.
This selection process, that is open to the general public will span across India and will be held exclusively at Zapp! stores. The search is expected to take about 2 months before presenting India with its next child supermodel.
Kick starting from today, all ambitious kids who fall between the age limit of 1-12 years, and are raring to experiment with their fashionable side can come and visit a Zapp! Store. Don't fret about having to spend your pocket money to qualify, as this participation comes absolutely free. All you need to do is look your best, get clicked at your nearest Zapp! store and post your entries with photographs in the store drop box and qualify to be a Zapp! supermodel!
Flagging the first season of this hunt, Mr. Vineeth Nair, Director, Kids Wear, Raymond Apparel Ltd. enthusiastically states, "The world of retail and brands are perpetually on the search for fresh and unique talent. This is not an ordinary model hunt as, we will be showcasing a face that speaks a thousand words; we will also be focusing on a child who is capable of nationally representing a renowned fashion brand.
Moreover we will lookout for on a child artist with a right mix of attitude, creativity and adventure who represents the brand with utmost confidence. This indeed will be a stepping stone for children who wish to foray into the glamour fraternity as there will be some amount of training and moulding involved from the experts in the fashion industry."
