lucy activewear introduces one of its most innovative collections yet: lucy Power Gym, a line of workout wear that combines performance technology with the power of fashion.

Launching in time for everyone's New Year's resolutions, the lucy Power Gym Collection is all about getting back to the gym — and bringing fashion-forward workout wear mainstream in 2009. Decidedly athletic-chic, the Power Gym Collection features bright and über-energetic colors like Geisha Red and Dahlia Pink incorporated into details like contrast stitching. This collection also marks the introduction of lucypower, an exclusive moisture-wicking fabrication developed by lucy to offer powerful compression and smooth supportive stretch.

The lucy Power Gym Collection includes coordinating tops and bottoms that simplify shopping for a new workout wardrobe. The top new style within the Collection is the new lucy Power Cardio Pant. With a low-rise waist and ultra-sleek design, this pant gives moisture-wicking performance a much-needed injection of fashion.

The Collection also introduces a new top detail every woman will love: a bra pocket, or in lucy terms, the “brocket.” It's the perfect place to stash necessary items while at the gym: a key, some money, or even an iPod mini.

lucy activewear is a Portland, Oregon-based apparel company for women who value style, fit and performance. Launched in 2000, the lucy brand was created to inspire a woman's active life; since then, lucy activewear has grown from its origins as lucy.com, an online retailer, to a vertical retailer currently operating 63 stores nationwide. In August 2007, VF Corporation, a global leader in lifestyle branded apparel, completed its acquisition of lucy activewear, Inc. As a result of the acquisition, lucy activewear, inc. is now a wholly owned subsidiary of VF Corporation.
