Garco 10 sets improvement targets for 2009

Despite difficulties for textile and garment industry in 2008, Garment Company 10 (Garco 10) reached total turnover of VND607 billion, up 23 percent on year showcasing a profit of VND16.7 billion.
Based on its present achievements and promotion abilities, Garco 10 has set its turnover target at VND713 billion for the ongoing year, up about 12 percent over 2008. The Company aims to earn profit of VND17.1 billion, a growth of 10.2 percent on year and pay an average salary of VND1.9 million per person each month.
To fulfill these planned targets, the Company worked out key measures like training managers to supplement to managing board, sticking to the socio-economic situation to have right-time solutions to develop products and focus on domestic market and developing human resource.
In future, Garco 10 aims to invest in its manufacturing plants to boost production capacity and improve the product quality to create added value to export products.
