Popular activewear designer Linda Hipp and her company, LIJA announce that staff player Leta Lindley will promote the company's new Fall 2009 collections at the PGA Merchandise Show on Thursday, Jan. 29 from 8:30am -- 11:30am at the LIJA by Linda Hipp booth, #8671.

While there, Lindley -- who wears LIJA in all on-courses activities -- will visit with attendees and sign autographs. The 36-year-old mother of two is the Grand Prize winner of the brand's inaugural Tour Style Leaders Program, an honor that comes on the heels of a stellar 2008 season that included a victory at the LPGA Corning Classic and a top-40 money list finish.

Lindley was one of eight Style Leaders on the LPGA, Futures or Ladies European Tours who participated in LIJA's unique sponsorship program, which included an extensive apparel-only endorsement and the opportunity to compete for the Grand Prize. Recognized for her on-course performance, brand fit and several other factors, Lindley was recently awarded a package valued at $25,000, including a cash bonus and apparel sponsorship for 2009.

"Leta is a talented professional and devoted mother who is committed to looking and performing her best on and off the course," says Hipp. "She embodies the LIJA woman and we're very excited to have her join us at the PGA Show."

LIJA's Fall 2009 offerings include three dynamic golf and sportswear collections, featuring runway styling, distinctive silhouettes and the brand's trademark bold color combinations. Fusing sport, leisure and fashion in unique designs, the line's Active and Tennis collections showcase chic accents such as color-blocking, ruffles, ruching and zipper detailing. Shipping begins June 15.

A staple in finer golf and non-golf retailers across North America, LIJA is available at world-renowned resorts and clubs like Riviera, Kiawah Island, The Greenbrier and Whistling Straits. The company's clothing is worn by scores of women golf professionals worldwide, including LPGA Tour star Leta Lindley, the 2008 LIJA Tour Style Leaders Grand Prize winner.

LIJA is a market leader in fashion-forward styles featuring feminine and comfortable silhouettes inspired by the fusion of sport, leisure and fashion. The brand's distinctive excellence is driven by LIJA's passion, commitment and dedication to creating innovative designs.

Having received significant recognition within and outside the golf industry, LIJA has achieved double digit sales growth every year. Additionally, LIJA recently began selling into the UK, Ireland, South Africa and United Arab Emirates markets.

Recent recognition for the company includes:
2008 Executive of the Year -- Score Golf Magazine
2008 PROFIT W100 Rankings of Canada's Top Women Entrepreneurs
2008 PGA Magazine -- Resort Top Seller
2008 PROFIT 100 Rankings of Canada's Fastest Growing Companies
2007 "Business of the Year" -- Richmond Chamber of Commerce
