BETA International marks its 30th anniversary this year
Feb '09
Beta International 2009 at the NEC, Birmingham, UK on 15-17 February, is the world's foremost equestrian and country trade exhibition.

The latest clothing collections appear in a three-time daily Fashion Show, with country and outdoor clothing being prominently featured by exhibitors.

A New Product Gallery and Horse Demonstration Arena, with live horses, are other popular attractions. Admission is free to relevant trades by pre-registering at www.beta-int.com

BETA International marks its 30th anniversary this year. In 2008, companies from 19 different countries were among the exhibitors while visitors came from 45 countries. Visitor numbers are BETA independently audited by ABC.

New exhibitors for 2009 include French wholesaler Ekkia, distributor of 18,000 equestrian lines to 50 countries. Alongside 20-plus own brands, BETA International visitors can also become acquainted with Equi-Theme, CSO, Eric Thomas, Riding World, Belstar and Hippo-Tonic.

Another newcomer is Mucros Weaving, manufacturer of hand-woven scarves, wraps, capes and hats from workshops in Co Kerry, Ireland. Each item from the range of accessories in lambswool, mohair and alpaca is designed by master weaver John Cahill.

BETA International 2009 will also see the arrival of the RAF. A clothing range made under licence by JOI Ltd and sporting the Royal Air Force's famous insignia, the RAF Collection features 'Biggles' flying jackets to t-shirts. A percentage of profits from the collection go to the RAF museums at Hendon and Cosford.

BETA International 2009 takes place on 15-17 February at the NEC, Birmingham, UK. Organiser Equestrian Management Consultants (EMC) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the BETA Group.
