The Chinese textile and garment industry is going through a very depressing period in the last few months after having witnessed heady growth of the last few years and thereby clocking exceptional growth figures.
The Chinese government has also helped the cause by taking different measures like procurement of cotton and increasing export drawback rates four times in the last eight months for the benefit of the industry manufacturers and exporters.
To help the cause of the exporters and manufacturers, there are three trade fairs which have been planned to be held in March this year. The week long trade fair jamboree will have 2009 China International Trade Fair for Fibres & Yams, China Intentional Textile Apparel Exhibition and China Fashion Week.
Experts believe that the three shows put together will help the cause of the Chinese textile and garment industry, which is renowned for delivering cost effective and mass produced clothing, and these very products are expected to sell in a market affected by recessionary trends
