Jaclyn Inc reported financial results for the second quarter ended December 31, 2008.
Net sales for the three-month period ended December 31, 2008 were $49,769,000 compared to $40,193,000 a year earlier. The Company reported second quarter net earnings of $1,357,000, or $.59 per diluted share, compared to net earnings of $601,000, or $.24 per diluted share, in the second quarter of fiscal 2008.
Net sales for the six-month period ended December 31, 2008 were $81,139,000 compared to $77,646,000 for the same period last year.
Net earnings for the six-month period ended December 31, 2008 were $862,000, or $.37 per diluted share, compared to net earnings of $901,000, or $.36 per diluted share, in the same six-month period last year.
