Turtle appoints Shitanshu Jhunjhunwalla as Director

The leading menswear apparel brand, Turtle Ltd has appointed Mr. Shitanshu Jhunjhunwalla as one the new Directors. A vibrant & young man, Mr. Jhunjhunwalla is all set to take responsibility of the company.
Mr. Jhunjhunwalla started his career as a concept and graphic designer at Turtle back in 2004. He was a part of the in-house designing team and was involved in innovation of the sampling studio. After graduation, Mr. Jhunjhunwalla joined the Future Group, as a strategic consultant for Future Logistics.
He was a part of the strategy team and evaluated and implemented systems such as warehouse management system, transportation and network designing. He worked on several projects like vendor portal, planning, vehicle-routing, RFID and state of the art supply chain solutions.
After Future, he moved on to the Essar Telecom Group, and worked as an Operations Manager for The MobileStore retail venture. This role exposed him to the world of operations as he came face-to-face with the ground realities of the retail sector. He was managing a team of over 60 people, and was responsible for handling a turnover of Rs. 3 crore of business per month.
Now, he has joined Turtle, with an enriched industry experience and knowledge-base.
Mr. Jhunjhunwalla went to pursue his higher studies to the Georgia Institute of Technology, in Atlanta, USA. He completed his bachelor's degree in supply-chain engineering with honor. He also attended the University of Berkeley, California for a summer program, and studied-abroad in Metz, France for 3months. He was also a part of the Entrepreneurs club, and India club in college.
