The global economic trend has transformed to the contemporary creative economy from the past service economy. To show the contemporary Hakka culture, enshrine the coming of the creative era, and inspire the application of expanding cultural image to creative design, the Council for Hakka Affairs, Executive Yuan is particularly holding the “2009 Hakka Product Creative Design Competition”.

In view of the dependency of the value of the aesthetic economy on the level of innovative energy, the Council for Hakka Affairs is extending the spirit of the Taiwan Hakka Expo – the “Good Hakka” of Hakka lovers - to hold this competition.
