Buzz Off completes its re-branding to Insect Shield

Buzz Off Insect Shield, the pioneer of insect-repellent clothing technology, announces the completion of its re-branding to Insect Shield. The Buzz Off brand will no longer be utilized as of May 1, 2009. Consumers familiar with Buzz Off Insect Shield Insect Repellent Apparel can now visit insectshield.com for updates about Insect Shield Repellent Apparel and other Insect Shield products, and corporate information.
Insect Shield Repellent Apparel is U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) registered to provide effective insect protection through 70 washings, almost three times the initial claim of 25 washings for the original Buzz Off Insect Shield apparel, achieved in July 2003. Insect Shield apparel products available now for spring 2009 offer the increased repellent durability of 70 washings.

"The enhanced Insect Shield technology makes the insect repellency effective essentially for the life of a garment, which is a remarkably convenient and valuable advantage in insect protection."
