Global sewing machine leader Juki sews up Indian arm

In a bid to be a business partner in the true sense, it has established a plant engineering team. The technical team will visit customers and train industrial engineers, technicians, production managers, factory manager and proprietors on analysing their factory operations and providing appropriate solutions to improve their productivity.
Even as layoffs become common due to the downturn, Juki feels that its approach of training plant managers and technicians will help in upgrading their skills and making them highly employable and towards that end had also organised a training workshop in Bangalore for sewing machine workers and supervisors, in a bid to help them upgrade their productivity and skills.
Juki Corporation has a long-term vision for the Indian market, i.e. to grow along with the Indian garment segment. Customer satisfaction is at the core of the vision of Juki India, and not merely making a sale.
