Framilon: the accessory that gives shape to a garment

For the Framilon 2010 Fashion Collection, Framis interprets four different sectors by putting the Framilon ribbon to new uses. The Framis Fashion Lab has created specific solutions for Beachwear, Fashion, Lingerie and Streetwear. Though different, they all share a common purpose: matching style with practicality.
Tidal Wave - Soft gathering, like golden ripples in the desert, gives a refined touch to a one-piece bathing costume. For beachwear, Framilonli is not intrusive but provides a sophisticated accessory that can give shape to the shape of the garment.
This refinement also features in the other creation for swimwear, in which black Framilon in a flat, compact seam becomes a decorative detail that creates a comfortable double-face without any extra thickness.
Flute Music - How can you make soft, delicate blouses from ultra fine fabrics as light as a petal? By using a slim almost imperceptible 3mm Framilon ribbon, you can add shape to any lightweight fabric without adding thickness. In this way, necks, armholes and waists are fit to stand the test of time.
Contour Fluidity - In the version for Lingerie, Framilon traces the outline of a garment as if with the stroke of a pencil, giving it life and shape. Unlike the previous theme, here the lightness of the tulle is enclosed in a frame that can be seen and felt, thus defining the cup of a baby doll. Neither the look nor the feel, however, compromise its wearability.
Clear Identity - The transparent, rubbery look of Framilon becomes a key factor in the fourth theme. Against the backdrop of an urban landscape, badges, military ribbons and zip pulls from times gone by, revisited in a modern key for a new language of communication.

Framilon is created by a process of extrusion in different widths and thicknesses: thanks to this particular production process, it is stronger than other brands of tape, even after repeated stitching.
