Children's clothing to undergo quarantine & inspection from July 1

According to China Inspection and Quarantine Department, children's clothing meant for export or import, have been added to New Statutory Inspection and Quarantine Directory. China will implement inspection and quarantine on July 1 this year after six months of transitional period.
The industry standard for inspection and quarantine SN/T1932.8-2008 “Inspection order for imported and exported clothing: Part 8: children's clothing" had been earlier implemented on November 1, 2008.
This standard is a newly developed industry standard, which focuses on children health, safety protection; it gives specific technical requirements for appearance and intrinsic qualities, such as fibre content, formaldehyde and labels.
